If you are used to wearing shoes with the Nike Shox heel, then these shoes will have that same familiar comfort for you. Personally, I think the comfort is better with these than the Air Max.
The upper portion of the shoes do have a snug fit. The ankle support is very firm, as well as the area around the tongue. As a result, it can take a few wears to break the shoes in. If you have thick ankles, you might experience some blistering initially.
Sizing seems to run pretty true to size, but they are a bit more narrow than other brands. If you have wide feet, you might want to go up a size for comfort.
The only real disadvantage I have seen with these shoes is the price. Of course, the saying goes that you get what you pay for. And these are some of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever had. They seem fairly durable as well.

The retail price for these shoes is a fairly high $135. I know that is pretty steep. Before buying my pair I did some price comparisons with local stores and online stores. In my research, all of the local stores were charging full retail price. At the the, the Nike Store was selling the shoes for $108 with free shipping. (click here to check Nike Store pricing) I ended up getting the best price online on Amazon. While they didn’t have the lowest price (I paid $119), they did have free shipping and no sales tax. Since I live in a state with a high tax rate, buying from Amazon was the cheapest option for me when I got my Nike Shox O’Leven Men’s Running Shoes.
